Tips: start doing your research on the bank and the banking industry, as well as revamp your resume, cover letter, and interview skills, immediately after Fall exams. Make appointments at the Career Centre (to more than 1 resume advisor too) early; everything will be closed during the holidays. Your CGPA is very important; it is required to send in your transcript.
Interviews and results: first 2-3 weeks of January, which is very quick.
Summer Co-ops in Banking
Recruitment period:
December to March
Companies:
Big 5 Banks, where some of them recruit until March.

Tips: same as above. Do not apply to too many positions, especially of different functions in the bank. It will seem like you do not know what you want.
Interviews and results: depending on when the job was posted, and its deadline.

- LinkedIn: create your footprint on the internet. Companies can get to know you better through your online presence, so make sure you have a professional one. Use LinkedIn to research about career paths, companies, and job opportunities. Leverage LinkedIn by contacting HR representatives or professionals about opportunities and advice.
