Battle on Bay St. 2012 was a BIG success!

This wouldn’t have happened without our delegates; we would like to thank you for taking on the challenge that was presented to you!

In addition, RUFS would like to thank all the judges for their hard work. We greatly appreciated the time they took out of their busy schedules to attend our conference.

Mr. Doug Walker presented an excellent keynote speech directly relevant to our theme of Venture Capital.

Professor Dr. Allen Goss wrote the challenging case which was provided to the delegates and did a great job with advising the Ryerson University Finance Society with preparations.

Overview

The Ryerson University Finance Society (RUFS) will be holding a National Finance Case Competition on Thursday January 12^th and 13^th, 2012 at the Ted Rogers School of Management. Battle on Bay Street will begin with a networking session that will highlight keynote speakers from the finance industry. Many recruiters and industry professionals will be in attendance on this day. The key note speaker will be Doug Walker, CEO of BitTorrent.

All participants will get access to an employer database called WhoPlusYou. This is an online system which allows you to connect with employers and get access to multiple job opportunities.
